The visit starts at 8:00 am at Independence Square, with a detailed explanation of the place and its surroundings. You will be taken to Fort Zeelandia, Henck Arronstraat (formerly Gravenstraat) and Kerkplein. The duration of the visit is approximately 3 to 4 hours. The months of November to March are best suited if you want to experience the full splendor of birds. Bigipan is also a region that is rich in fish. The fish literally fly into the boat. Bigipan is a 2-hour boat ride from the Nickerie River. The mud bath is a real experience.
